Two questions people ask about a free service. Both answers are on this page, not buried in a policy.
We publish a directory of programs that help seniors, caregivers and veterans. A person describes the problem in their own words, enters a ZIP code, and sees what is available where they live.
For each program we record what it does, what it does not do, who qualifies, how to start, and a local phone number. We record the date a person last confirmed that number.
We are not a provider. We do not decide who gets help, screen anyone, run intake, or administer any program. We do not license, inspect or rate the organizations we list.
That is why every listing says "contact confirmed" with a date, and never "verified". Confirming that a phone number works is a smaller claim than vouching for an organization, and it is the only one we can honestly make.
Senior Resource Path LLC is a for-profit business. The directory is free to use and free to be listed in. Local businesses pay a flat annual sponsorship, and agencies buy the anonymous record of what people searched for and could not find.
We say this in plain words because we ask the programs we list to be straight about eligibility and cost. It would be strange not to do it ourselves.
Read the eight sponsorship rules21 counties in West Tennessee — 327 programs across 215 organizations.
We expand county by county, and we say where we are rather than where we intend to be. If your ZIP is not covered yet, the directory says so and points you somewhere that can help today.
From public sources, recorded with where each fact came from.
A person calls the published number and confirms it reaches the program.
"Contact confirmed" plus the date. Never the word "verified".
The organization can correct its own facts. We call their published number to confirm it is really them.
An organization can change its phone, hours, address, how to start and its waitlist. It can never change the summary, the "does not help with" list, the wrong-door line, or the category. Those stay ours, so the page keeps telling the truth even when it is inconvenient.
Something on a listing wrong? Tell us and we will check it. Corrections are free, and we do not need you to buy anything first.
